Bulgogi Beef Ingredients:
2 lbs of 100% Grass-Fed Beef
1 Tablespoon of Maldon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
2 finely chopped cloves of Garlic
1/2 cup Coconut Aminos (or soy sauce)
1/4 cup Raw Honey
1 Tablespoon of Toasted Sesame Oil
Fresh ginger, microplane zester to taste
2 green onions
1 teaspoon of Toasted Sesame Seeds
Bone Broth Rice
2 cups of Basmati Rice
3 cups of Beef Bone Broth
3 Tablespoons of unsalted Butter
1 teaspoon of Maldon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
Instructions:
Rice- Add the rice, bone broth, butter, salt and pepper to a medium-sized stock pot and heat to a boil. Stirring a few times to mix thoroughly. Once it starts to boil, turn heat to simmer and put a lid on. Continue to stir every 4-5 minutes until fully cooked. (can add more broth if needed) (*This creates a buttery, rich rice full of all that bone broth goodness!)
Beef- In a large skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat. As it browns, break it up with the spatula and sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Then add the chopped garlic and continue to cook until thoroughly browned.
Sauce- While the meat cooks, in a small bowl combine the Coconut aminos, Honey, zested ginger and sesame oil. Mix thoroughly with a fork to combine and set aside.
Mix- Once the meat is fully cooked, pour the sauce over the meat and mix. Cut the green onions and add to the meat. Then sprinkle in the sesame seeds. Continue to cook an additional 3-4 minutes while the sauce cooks down a little.
Serve- Plate a serving of rice then top with the meat sauce and serve with your favorite roasted veggie! Yum!
